You may not copy the site wholesale, republish its content as your own, or reuse its code and design to present a competing copy. Third party materials remain the property of their owners.

3. User Representations

  • Systematically collect data from the site without permission.
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose.

5. Accuracy and Limitations of the Service

The site calculates quantities of aggregate from the dimensions you enter and the bulk density of the material you select. The unit conversions are exact. The densities are typical planning values published by aggregate suppliers, shown with the range they vary within, and they are assumptions rather than measurements. Actual bulk density varies with the parent rock, the grading, the moisture content and how much the material has been compacted, so the quantity your supplier weighs out may differ from the figure shown here.

  • Results are estimates for planning and purchasing, not measurements and not a specification.
  • Confirm quantities, densities and delivery terms with your supplier before placing an order.
  • Nothing on this site is engineering, construction or professional advice. For anything structural, anything carrying vehicle loads, or anything governed by local building regulations, follow what the relevant authority or a qualified professional requires.
  • Suggested depths are common starting points for each kind of job, not requirements, and what a given site needs depends on conditions this site cannot see.

6. Site Management

We may monitor the site for misuse, and may restrict or suspend access where that is reasonably necessary to keep it working for everyone else.
