About
Gravel Calculator works out how much gravel a job needs, in whichever unit you have to order it in, and shows the arithmetic that got there.
Who runs this
This site is built and maintained by Akash Kinkar Pandey, working from Kolkata, India. It is an independent site: it is not affiliated with any quarry, supplier or builders merchant, and no supplier pays to appear here.
Why it exists
Most gravel calculators stop at a volume. A volume is not what you order. Suppliers quote in tons or cubic yards, shops sell bags, trucks carry a fixed load, and yards have minimum orders. The gap between the number a calculator gives you and the number you put on an order is where people end up a load short. This site closes that gap.
How the results are produced
Every page runs the same calculation engine, so no two pages can disagree about the same job. Densities are typical planning values published by aggregate suppliers, shown with the range they vary within and editable to whatever your own supplier quotes. Nothing is measured or certified here, and nothing on this site is engineering advice. For anything structural, check what your local building department requires.
